Junior Aviculturist Program

The Junior Aviculturist Program is an exclusive opportunity for select hard-working and dedicated high-school aged students (ages 14-18) interested in future careers in the zoological or wildlife fields. During the program students gain hands-on experience in all aspects of aviculture working alongside the Conservancy’s staff.

Activities may include assisting with nest searches, walking goslings and crane chicks, and working with education birds. Four and eight week sessions may be available during the summer months and is limited to a maximum of two participants. LRWC provides lunch and snacks.

Please contact the Conservancy for availability and tuition.
